Key Issues
Improved Communication
As your Ward Councilor I will respond to your questions and concerns promptly, with respect, and a desire to serve. Additionally, I will hold quarterly ward meetings to receive feedback, hear concerns, and to relay information from the city.
One of the first things I’ll work on after taking office is electric rates. There is a simple policy we can adopt as a city called “municipal aggregation.” It would allow the city to purchase electricity at a favorable rate using its bargaining power, which would benefit all residents. This one act could save hundreds on your home’s annual electric bill, and thousands for businesses.

Property Taxes & Tax Relief
I can’t promise that your taxes will decrease, but there are many proven methods of shifting the tax burden off homeowners, especially those on a low or fixed income. There is no reason that we shouldn’t consider all of the options. It’s a tough conversation to have, but I’m willing to start it so that we can decide our priorities as a community.
Infrastructure
Frugal financial policies have left Leominster in a strong position on paper, but at times the city’s choice to defer maintenance and put off large projects has cost us more in the long run. I want us to take a more forward-thinking approach that doesn’t just examine the city ledgers tomorrow, but the overall impact years from now.
Transparency & Efficiency
There are many standard practices that we are not currently implementing within our city government that would enhance transparency, such as holding regular subcommittee meetings. Furthermore, we can improve the efficiency of our local government by taking more care during the appointment process of our boards and commissions, especially by examining consistent and detrimental absenteeism.
