Communication
Good communication is essential to a functioning government, and it is the primary reason I am running to be the Ward 4 City Councilor. I’ve heard story after story from residents who have been met with dismissiveness, rudeness and who struggled to get a response at all. That’s a major failing, and as Ward Councilor, I will provide a much-improved experience to my constituents.
To the best of my ability, I will respond to questions and concerns promptly, with respect, and a desire to serve. Even if an issue is not within the purview of the City Council, I will attempt to connect you with the appropriate contact and provide any additional support.
Additionally, as the Ward 4 Councilor, I will host quarterly ward meetings as an opportunity to receive feedback, hear concerns, and relay any information from the city. These meetings would also serve as a way to build community, and could be used to workshop ideas that impact Ward 4 and the city at large.
