Affordable Housing Steward

During the Spring of 2025, I took part in the Affordable Housing Stewardship training provided by NewVue Communities. It covered several topics related to affordable housing, including securing a site and funding for development, different types of affordable housing development, the types of programs and builders who participate in the creation of affordable housing, and housing data for Leominster and the surrounding area. Other than the fact we need more affordable housing, I didn’t know much on the topic at the beginning, so it was a great way to become better acquainted with the subject. On July 24, 2025, I received my certificate for completing the program and took part in the graduation ceremony that is held for all of the programs supported by NewVue Communities.

I look forward to taking their conservation program in the future.
